West End Residence
Single Lock Standing Seam
Aluminium
Year completed: 2015
Builder: Home Builder
Architect: Kevin O’Brien Architects
Size: 200 m2
Custom Creations
The owners of this West End residence wanted to renovate, extend and modernise a traditional Queenslander without compromising the existing architecture. They required a very crisp looking façade that appeared flat without oil canning.
Proven profiles, precious metals
A single lock standing seam system was perfectly suited to achieving continuous cladding that melded traditional style with a contemporary edge.
We used zinc grey textured aluminium to deliver regular cladding with no oil canning in line with the client’s wishes.
Lifelong value
The sharp, contemporary façade will age gracefully and gives the beholder the impression that the structure continues infinitely.
Testimonial

Our architect specified Standing Seam Cladding for our major renovation to a Queensland workers cottage in Highgate Hill. With little knowledge of this product, we contacted a number of suppliers with Simon from ZC Technical being one.
One thing that stood out from other suppliers/installers, was Simon was prepared to come to site and explain what options we had. This made us very comfortable in dealing and awarding the job to ZC Technical.
Once we gave ZC Technical the job, Simon and his supervisor Ryan were in contact regularly to see how we were going, and when they would be required to start. I found them excellent and helpful in coordinating with other trades and if they said they were going to be there on a certain date, they were there. The quality of their work is excellent and we would have no hesitations in recommending Simon and his crew.
